So it has been several months since I last wrote. For the most part it was just work, work, and more work, but lately some interesting things have happened.
I had a male texting buddy for a while, and about two months after we had started texting we finally met in person. The fact that we even met was my idea, and I set up the whole "date." Let's just say that it didn't work out, but I'm over it now.
Allison and I went to the Leonardo Museum and played around a bit. They have this awesome technology exhibit where we made this awesome marble track. It took us about a half hour but it was fun and we got it to work.
A few weeks ago my friend Kelli asked me to go to Prom with her. I know what you're thinking, why is Jessie going to a prom when she's been out of High School for seven years now. Well it wasn't a real prom, it was a birthday party for one of Kelli's friends.
A few weeks ago I got to be there to see Libby get her wings at her SkyWest Graduation. I also got to see Libby graduate from SUU a week and a half later.
Last Friday, May 3rd, was my 25th Birthday. I spent most of the day at Libby's SUU graduation but when I came home my awesome roommate, Allison, had made a TARDIS out of crape paper on the wall, and when I walked into my bedroom it was covered in pink and ballons that my friends Kymn and Russ had done while I was down south for the weekend. There were so many balloons, it took me a good ten minutes to pop them all.
So yesterday when I woke up to go to work, I went to get into my car then realized that my car wasn't where I had parked it. Now I don't have a designated parking spot so I thought maybe I didn't park where I had thought. So I spent the next five minutes walking around the parking lot and not finding my car. At this point I called the cops and reported that my car had been stolen. I went to work and a few hours later, at precisely 1:30 I got a phone call saying that my car had been found. I went and picked up my car a few blocks from my house. Luckily the car was left in one piece, other than a few unimportant things missing. God was definitely watching out for me. I must include that I think the real reason my car was found so quickly and with very little missing was thanks to my friend Ben's two youngest kids praying that I would find my car. Ben told me that they prayed as soon as they got home from school which was 1:20, and ten minutes later I got the call that my car had been found! There is something to be said for the faith of children. They need to pray for me to find a husband ;)
The last few months have definitely had ups and downs but one thing I've learned is that even with the trials and hardships there is still a chance to be happy. I thought, and I guess I sometimes still do slip into this way of thinking, that the only way for me to be happy would be to get married and have a family, but since that won't be for a while, I've been trying to find happiness in other ways. Hopefully I will have many more happy adventures to share with you soon.

Another Birthday, 23 to be Exact
For those of you who don't know or have forgotten my birthday is on May 3rd. This year my birthday fell in Finals Week. Luckily I had all of my finals and papers done the day before so all I had to do on my birthday was work a few hours at the library. During my first shift at the library my friend Kymn and her sister drove up from St. George and decorated my bedroom.
Of course Libby made me the Better-Than-Sex cake, which was delicious especially since she made real whipped cream instead of cool whip. It was so yummy!
This is what Kymn and her sister did to my room.
She made me a candy gram.
At the end of the day I went to Cash and Libby's house and we had a little party the four of us. I opened all of my birthday presents down there. I got the complete Anne of Green Gables DVD collection, a few books, a sleeping bag, a necklace, and a earring and necklace set. It was a fun birthday.
Here I am with all of my presents.

Happy Birthday to Me!
So Monday May 3, 2010 was my 22nd birthday. I spent the day in St. George, mainly because I wanted to be somewhere warm. Anyway early Monday morning, precisely 6am, my friend Kymn called me and told me to put a sweater and shoes on and to go outside. I did what I was told and walked outside and got into her car. She then drove us to Ihop and bought me breakfast. After breakfast she dropped me off at home and I laid around for the next few hours being lazy. Then I went to the chocolate factory and we had the most delicious, yummy cake: the better-than-sex cake that my mommy makes so well! Then Kymn took me out to get a drink (a smoothie no alcohol was involved, sadly). Then I went back home opened presents from the family then Mom and Dad took me to Chuck-a-rama. After Chuck-a-rama I drove back home to Cedar but I made a stop at Cash's house and they had pizza and salad waiting for me. I think that it was one of my best birthdays ever and I didn't even take pictures to remember it. However, I think that I had eaten too much food, but you can never get too much food especially if it is delicious!

Early Birthday Present

Kaylie and I went to St. George yesterday as a sort of early birthday celebration. We went to the skin institute in St. George and got the Make Up Consultation. Then after we got our make up done we went to the mall and got this picture then went to Olive Garden and Kaylie bought me dinner. I'm sure going to miss Kaylie as a roommate, we have had a whole lot of fun together!
Just a heads up everybody, my birthday is Monday May 3rd, so feel free to give me presents! I love opening things! This is only my 22nd birthday, but since my 21st birthday wasn't all that great I wouldn't mind a party this year ;)

Look at me I'm 21!!!
Today was my 21st Birthday!!!I didn't do very much for my birthday, but I enjoyed it anyway. I spent my birthday up in Kanarraville at Cash's house. We didn't do much. We did go on a walk with Summer, Klint, and Trace. Cash was nice enough to make me a cake, and they did sing to me as well. Alas, I did not go to Vegas and go gambling or go to a bar, and I did not go to a grocery store to buy alcohol, but heck I can do it whenever I please now. *wink *wink

My Vacation to "The Last Frontier"
Hey everyone I know that it has been a couple of weeks since I got home from Alaska but a lot has been going on and I haven't had a chance to use a computer that had the internet so here is the jist of my trip. I know Libby told you all about our drive up and if you haven't read it go read it on Libby's blog. As some of you may have realized we were on the road for my 20th birthday, which didn't really feel like my birthday. We were mainly in the Yukon and British Columbia so we didn't have any phone service and I felt kind of sad that I wasn't able to talk to anyone but Libby and Audra on my Birthday; However, I did get some nice texts and voicemails that I checked later. Thanks! That made me feel a lot better. Once we got to Anchorage we drove straight to Bev's house. When we walked in my friend Camilla had a nice surprise awaiting me: A birthday cake with candles, and not any cake my favorite Mom's Celestial cake aka better-than-sex cake (like I would know!)

That was Sunday May 4th. It was so fun, I haven't blown out candles on a birthday cake since my 15th birthday.

The first day in Alaska Camilla and I went Ice skating!! It was my first time and it was so much fun! At first I stayed close to the edge but after a while I was doing tricks, a little. After we went Ice skating we went and had dinner at Orso's and I tried Calamary and oysters! Both very chewy. I didn't like either really.
The next day Camilla, her boyfriend Matt, and I went hiking at Gull rock which was 10 miles round trip and I was sore then we went to Homer and camped on the Homer Spit.

The next day we went on about an 8 mile bike ride to the end of the Homer Spit and I got to see the ocean and see real star fish and crab. Then we went back to Anchorage but we stopped and I got to crawl through a big snow cave. After we got back to Anchorage, Camilla and I went swimming at one of the inside pools.

On the last day we went Canoeing which was a lot of fun. Then we went to some gift shops and then we met up with Libby and Bev and some others to Eat at Glacier Brewhouse and have the yummy peanut-butter pie.

Then at midnight I went and got onto a plane to fly home. I had so much fun on my trip and hope to be able to do it again. I recommend this trip to everyone!!
