My new Talent

I'm back at the Chocolate Factory for the holiday season, and I fill the internet orders, which includes baskets. I don't like doing creative stuff like that because I don't usually make stuff look very pretty, but they are forcing me to do it, and here is one of my finished baskets. Doesn't it look pretty?

They taught me how to make a bow look pretty. So now I have a new talent. Making baskets. I've made others but I keep forgetting to get pictures of them.

Memories: The Lord of the Rings obsession!

So as many of you know there was a time in my life not so long ago when I was very obsessed with The Lord of the Rings. Now I will admit that I still love those books and movies. Anyway today I finished my homework early and was cleaning my side of the closet when I came upon one of my scrapbooks. So I thought that I would share one of my favorite pages with you.
This was when my friend Jessi J and I dressed up and went and saw the third movie in the theater. (It wasn't opening night because I had some school thing, but it was close enough.) Anyway I hope you enjoy this I definitely did.

Boulder, Utah: Heaven on Earth

So this last weekend the Williams and the Griffins traveled the four hours to Beautiful Boulder, Utah.
We stayed in the Griffins' family cabin, north of Boulder. Our weekend was full of great people, great food, and tons of fun and relaxation.
We drove up Thursday and arrived in the late afternoon. We unpacked the cars and got everything situated. Then we had some yummy hamburgers for dinner. After dinner we watched The Bounty Hunter (which was really stupid) then went to bed.
The next morning was beautiful with clear skies and nice warm weather, so we decided that we were going to hike the higher Calf Creek Falls trail.
Here we are starting our way down the trail (this was hell on the way back up, just fyi).

Here we are at the waterhole at the end of the trail. Everyone jumped in, except for dad. Libby and Aubrey both jumped in as well!

Here we all are at the top of the trail. This is after we were done, that is why we all look so awesome.

We had to get a picture of the four of us, especially since it has been a while since we have seen Flint. It was really good to see him again.

After our hike we drove back to the cabin. As soon as we walked into the cabin it began to pour. It was so nice just listening to the rain fall against the roof. The rest of the day was pretty calm as we played games and chatted. That night we had delicious dutch oven that Dad made. Then we watched some episodes of Seinfeld before we went to bed.
The next day we woke up and had a delicious breakfast of Pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Then we drove down to Boulder and had some delectable milkshakes at Pole's Place. We also explored the gift shop, and some of us went over to the Anasazi State Park.
Throughout the weekend the boys went fishing. Cash brought some of the fish back to the cabin and cooked it for us. It was very appetizing.

Thursday afternoon most of us drove up to King's pasture and found this beautiful little pond. It began to rain while we were there and it was so gorgeous watching the rain fall on the crystal clear water.

Then we went back to the cabin and had some savory steaks for dinner. We of course had to get a group picture of all of us.

After dinner we got a group of us to play Nertz. It was so much fun, and I just have to say that I won both games without cheating. I was just faster than everyone else. ;)

Then Sunday morning we woke up, packed up, and drove back home to reality.
It really was a great weekend full of lots of fun.

Random Pics Part 3: Snow Day 2006

Once upon a time a long time ago, about four years ago, we got a snowstorm in St. George, Utah. I know unbelievable right, but yes it does happen...very rarely. My good friend Jessi J and I decided to take this rare opportunity and make a snowman. This was our snowman...my boyfriend of the time...as you can see I was all over him.

Jessi was too.

Doesn't he look warm and friendly. Ah I was so in love, but it didn't last too long, he soon melted away and now he only lives in my dreams.

Random Picks, Part 2: Life at the Chocolate Factory

So I know that posting these pictures on my blog could be a kind of black mail, but I just find these pictures funny. Plus it will give you guys a chance to see why I got the name Messy Jessie. Just to let you all know I may look like I am covered in chocolate, but I am one of the best and most detailed cleaners there.

This is me probably after I cleaned a melter, hence being covered in chocolate.

This is me, Erika, and Kelli. We were the three amigos of the chocolate factory for a long time, now I am the only one who still works there, and that is very limited at this point.

Another messy picture of me, and note the apron that was my signature apron until it pretty much fell apart.

This is my personal favorite picture. Kelli and I were pretty hyper one day and Kelli was doing a maverick run and she put her sunglasses on and forgot to take her hairnet off. Luckily someone told her before she got out the door, but it was really funny. We had this joke that we were mental hospital runaways. We're crazy so it worked for us.

Random Pictures Part 1

So for Christmas Flint gave me a Gift Card to Walmart so that I could take some old disposable cameras to get them developed. Well these cameras were from about three years ago. And I thought that for fun I would post some of the pictures from those cameras because some of them have some kind of funny pictures.
These ones are right after after I graduated from High School, when I cut off 10 inches of hair and donated it to locks of love.

So here is the before picture.

During.

And the after picture. I'm thinking of maybe going this short again this summer, or maybe I'll wait until the next summer.

Random pictures!

Here are a bunch of random picture, to entertain you all. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh! So I was bored, and trying to avoid doing homework. I decided to go through my pictures. You have to see what I found! This is Tyson. He is the love of my life. This picture was taken around Christmas of 2007, right after we got Rusty. Look at Rusty, he is so cute and small!

Okay this next picture is from when Libby, Audra, and I drove to Alaska. I'm sure that Libby will probably hate me for putting this on my blog, but you have to admit that it is a funny and very attractive picture of her. I love you Libby!

These next two pictures were from the time my boss Ben took me on a ride on his totally awesome motorcycle! It was so fun. If anyone knows any guy who owns a bike, set me up. I love motorcycles!
