Traveling Sucks!

So last night Libby, Holly, and I headed down to Vegas to catch our red eye flight to Atlanta. About a half hour north of Vegas we got a call from Delta saying that our flight had been delayed an hour. So we were thinking "Okay well we have four hours until we have to be at the airport, let's go to the outlet stores at Caesar's Palace." So we went to the mall mainly so that Libby could get a replacement for her watch but we still had a while and we were hungry so we decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory. It wasn't busy but the service was slow. By the time we got out of Caesar's Palace we had an hour before our plane was to take off. So we rushed to the airport having some bathroom issues. We get to the check-in counter and we're already running late, the guy at the baggage claim decided to just print out a special sticker for out luggage. After that we ran through security and got to our gate with enough time to use the restroom before we boarded. Once we were on the plane we were all out we were so exhausted. When we finally landed in Atlanta we discovered that we had missed our connecting flight to Jacksonville and had to get another flight. When we finally did land in Jacksonville things just got worse. First our baggage was (well still is) lost and we couldn't get a rental car. Eventually we did get a rental car but our luggage is still currently missing. Now we are sitting in our ghetto hotel room after a long day of trying to get through the day sanely. The only money we've spent so far has been on extra clothes and little travel toiletries. We did go spend a little bit of time on the beach. It is really beautiful here but so far our experience here in Florida hasn't been the most present. Hopefully the rest of our trip will be better, and please pray that we will get our luggage back.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! IN ALL MY YEARS OF TRAVELING....I have never wanted to just be home!!! I'll try to keep telling myself there is something for us to learn from this experience, AND our luggage - it's all worldly things, and we should be grateful we weren't in a plane crash or eaten by alligators??? Yet, those things could still happen???
